Acceptable Use Policy
General
- No commercial enticement; i.e., no selling, buying, renting or soliciting of services in game.
- No spamming [define]
- Intentionally trying to damage the game database, server, or site is not acceptable.
- Lying to an admin is not acceptable.
- Spoofing another player is not acceptable. [define]
- We invite people to play our games, but this does not mean that you have a right to play them. Play by our rules or find a game that has rules you like better.
- Jubal and Dardalani admin write and interpret these policies, and they are not subject to debate.
Harassment
- Don't do it; you may lose either or both your character or your account if you persist.
- Jubal and Dardalani admin decide what constitutes harassment, in the interest of a good game experience for the community as a whole.
Profanity
- Keep it IC (In-Character); when actively roleplaying, use Dardalani curses.
- When OOC (Out-of-Character), restrain yourself.
Characters
- All characters are always considered to be IC (In-Character) save for when they are in the OOC (Out-of-Character) room.
- The Shambles and catacombs are dangerous and potentially lethal. Do not enter these areas unless you are prepared to see your character be severely injured or die.
- Death is permanent in the game. The only exceptions to this are on a case-by-case basis with regards to a glitch in the code as determined by Dardalani admin.
- The city of Dardalani is not a safe or fair place, and many injustices exist. Remember that this is a game, and that, from a roleplaying point of view, bad things may happen to your character. If you, a human, walk up to a Shak and start threatening him or acting blatently disrespectful, do not be surprised if a Grey Cloak (or the Shak himself) attacks you or imprisons you.
- Understand that thematically, most people in the city are content with their lot. This does not mean your character has to like living under the rule of the Shak, but do not expect massive riots to happen just because you shout, "Down with the oppressors!"
