Healers for Hire: Guild Stories

Here's where we're going to start creating the "stories" of our characters. You can have a background or perhaps some fun event online inspires you to write a bit more. The idea is just to have fun in a creative way.

First, create a page using the "Create content" link. Make that page something personal. We'll find a way to change your background to a screen shot of your PC later. When you've got something for your PC be sure to set the URL path settings before submitting the page. Set it with the following format:

HealersForHire/your-pc-name-here

That will create the web page for your PC and I'll like to it from the Member's Page. You can also set the url to it in your profile.

Next, create the stories you want. As you write stories, be sure to set the URL path settings on the page. Use the following format:

HealersForHire/your-pc-name-here/story-page-name

When you do this, you can go back to your original PC page and put in the proper links (with the anchor tags, ask Semphere or Melanne for help if you need it) to link up to your stories.

See Melanne's pages for examples. Go to the Members page and click on Melanne's name to see her first introduction. It's a pretty neat way for our guild to explore things. Eventually, we might even combine stories into books if people want.
