As you can see on my other post i renamed my pet Persephony.
Here are the reasons/advantages on doing this:

*You dont feel bad for starving him
*You can say "Persephony" is a fluffy pink drake
*In the arena "Persephony" gets hit instead of you
*You dont feel bad when he dies
*He doesnt leave
*You can raise his simphaty towards you
*You can kill him for a component...My favourite :P
